Oakwood Clean Up Day

Saturday May 30th, 2026

Time: 8am-Noon

Traffic flow will start at Olmstead and N. Main and head north on Olmstead turning west on Collett St. at the Public Works Building.

Residents must show proof of residency. Residents are expected to help unload.

Items Allowed for Drop Off:

• Furniture, grills, swing sets, playhouses, appliances, water heaters, siding, shingles, carpet, lumber and wood, windows, exercise equipment, etc.

Items NOT Allowed for Drop Off:

• Liquid Waste (paint, motor oil, thinner)

• Hazardous Waste (gasoline, propane, chemical wastes, and insecticides/pesticides)

• Electronics (TVs, computers, copy/fax machines, cell phones, and stereo equipment)

• Tires

• Batteries

• Dirt

• Yard Waste/Kitchen Garbage

Large items must be no longer than 2’x2’x5’ and weigh less than 200 lbs.

Playhouses, furniture, swing sets, etc. should be already broken down.
