Message from the Mayor

“It has come to my attention there are some misleading statements and information that has been circulating on social media and around town about proposed improvements at the Village Park.  I want to make very clear the Village is partnered with the community, and no one is being removed from the park!!

 After spending some time negotiating with the Oakwood Youth Football Club & the Oakwood School District, we have come to an agreement on how all youth sports can be accommodated at the park in the fall pending final approval by the Village Trustees.

 I reiterate that this solution has been agreed upon by all parties.  I look forward to seeing everyone tonight.”
